2007/6/9 -- If it's possible, this place looks worse than it did 7 months ago.
The building and property is in violation of the sign and landscaping ordinance. 
Even the Century 21 sign looks worse.

*Sec. 118-206. Sign Maintenance.
All signs shall be kept in good repair and, unless of galvanized or non-corroding metal or treated with appropriate wood preservative, shall be thoroughly painted as often as is necessary, consistent with good maintenance. All braces, belts, clips, supporting frames and fastenings shall be free from deterioration, termite infestation, rot or loosening. All signs shall be able to withstand safely at all times the wind pressure specified in this chapter. If any sign is not so maintained, the sign administrator shall give written notice to the owner or lessee thereof to so maintain the sign or to remove the sign.

Sec. 118-207. Unsafe signs.
If any sign, in the opinion of the sign administrator, becomes insecure or in danger of falling or otherwise unsafe, the sign administrator shall give written notice of the condition of the sign to the person owning, leasing or responsible for the sign. The person so notified shall correct the unsafe condition of the sign in a manner to be approved by the sign administrator in conformity with this chapter.

Sec. 118-208. Unlawful signs.
If any sign shall be installed, erected, constructed or maintained in violation of any of the terms of this chapter, the sign administrator shall give written notice to the owner, lessee or person responsible for the sign, ordering the owner, lessee or person to alter the sign so as to comply with this chapter or to remove the sign.
